Do I need MikroTik for a hotspot?
No — but we recommend it. MikroTik RouterOS includes a full Hotspot + UserManager for free, and scales from 20 users to thousands.
Can guests pay by mobile money?
Yes. We integrate M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa and Airtel Money via plugins on the captive portal for self-service voucher purchase.
How many APs do I need?
Depends on coverage and density. A typical hotel lobby + restaurant needs 3–4 enterprise APs; a 50-room hotel typically 8–12.
Can I get reports for owners?
Yes — daily/weekly/monthly CSV or PDF reports showing active users, bandwidth, and revenue per voucher batch.
